McCain comes out over obamacares repeal bill

US Senator John McCain Friday announced his opposition to the latest Republican attempt to replace Barack Obama’s signature health care law, likely dooming the repeal effort. “I cannot in good conscience vote for the Graham-Cassidy proposal,” McCain said of the bill proposed by fellow Republican senators Lindsey Graham and Bill Cassidy. “I believe we could do better working together, Republicans and Democrats, and have not yet really tried,”  the senator said in a statement. In July, McCain made a dramatic return to Washington from Arizona after a brain cancer diagnosis to become one of three Republican senators who helped sink their party’s earlier efforts to replace Obamacare. Republicans have pledged to repeal Obama’s health care reforms, but have struggled to secure enough support to do so amid fears that proposed alternatives would dramatically increase the number of Americans without health insurance. Social media was quick to explode with commentary over the encounter. The latest interaction between the commander in chief and first lady isn’t the first to raise eyebrows over the presidential couple, and body language expert Dr. Lillian Glass warns it could be a signal of trouble in their marriage. “It makes them look horrible. It makes them look like their marriage is in jeopardy,” Glass told AOL News. “It fuels gossip. It makes them look like they’re just in it for the show and she can’t stand him.” Glass suggests the nature of the ...

The Argentine has been a regular for all of his clubs but now has to adapt to life on the bench. However, his former coach says he should stay calm Javier Mascherano is in a situation he has never previously experienced. A fixture in every one of the teams for which he has played, the Argentine is now no longer an undisputed starter at Barcelona. The 33-year-old has played just three matches for the Catalan club this season. Against Eibar, he was chosen in order to give Samuel Umtiti a rest, featuring from the outset after spending the previous three games on the bench, something that had not happened since 2010 when he was still adapting to life at Camp Nou and Pep Guardiola's style. "Not being in the team affects him, without doubt," his former Argentina coach at youth level, Hugo Tocalli, told  Goal . "He is a player who is used to being a starter and the more he plays, the better he feels." Tocalli, now head of the youth academy at San Lorenzo, nev...
