Ted cruz says aide hit 'like' button on twitter porn video

WASHINGTON - U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz says an aide was responsible for the "like" that caused a pornographic post to briefly appear on Cruz's Twitter feed overnight. The Texas Republican and 2016 presidential candidate said Tuesday that several aides have access to the account and that one inadvertently posted the pornography. Cruz told reporters that "it was a staffing issue and it was inadvertent. It was a mistake. It was not a deliberate action." "Liking" -- which only people with access to a Twitter account are able to do -- causes it to appear on one's feed. Cruz said "this is not how I envisioned waking up this morning" and joked that if he knew how much attention he would receive he might have posted pornography during last year's Indiana primary.

A gunman has killed seven people and injured two others at a house in Texas, according to US officials. The attacker was shot dead at the scene after being confronted by an officer who went inside the property. All of the victims are believed to be adults, and neither they nor the suspect have been identified so far. Police spokesman David Tilley said a shooting of this magnitude was unusual for Plano, a city that lies less than 20 miles northeast of Dallas. He added: "I've been here all my life. I've never heard of anything like this." "We're trying to put all the puzzle pieces together." According to local media, those inside the house were watching the Dallas Cowboys when the shooting began at about 8pm on Sunday night. Investigators have yet to determine a motive for the attack - but a neighbour told the Dallas News that there may have been a domestic dispute.

UN sanction alone cant stop Kim jong un

These latest sanctions on North Korea are being described as "by far the strongest" ever imposed. "This will cut deep," US ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley declared. But then she said the last round, just last month, would be a "gut punch" that would put Kim Jong Un "on notice". Instead, in the interim, he ordered another nuclear test, by far the country's strongest to date. The previous resolution, in November 2016, was feted as "the toughest and most comprehensive sanctions regime ever imposed by the Security Council". Since then, North Korea has successfully tested two intercontinental ballistic missiles, capable of hitting mainland United States, along with a variety of other short and medium-range weapons. :: North Korea hit by new UN sanctions We should be clear about what sanctions are, and what they are not. Thomas rawls expected this week for seahawks

After missing Sunday’s season opener against the Green Bay Packers, Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls will likely make his season debut against the San Francisco 49ers this week. Rawls missed the final three games of the preseason and the regular season opener while recovering from a high-ankle sprain. He went through pregame warmups in Green Bay but was held out against the Packers. “We do expect Thomas back. He should be raring to go,” head coach Pete Carroll said on Monday afternoon. “We want to get it behind him and make sure it’s done,” Carroll said on his weekly radio show on 710 ESPN Monday morning. “But the high ankles do linger and I hope that he’ll feel good on it. We just want it behind us, instead of having it kind of be gone. So that’s why we made that move. He did practice well last week though and he ran hard. He could still feel some stuff; so that’s why we made that decision.” Rawls rushed for just 349 yards in nine games for Seattle last season as a hairline frac...
